There has been a rapid growth in Tullow’s acreage position offshore the Netherlands during the past 12 months with the Company now holding interests in nine operated blocks and one non-operated block. The majority of this acreage lies in the Quadrant E area, where the same Carboniferous play is recognized to that successfully exploited in the UK sector.

Work programmes on these blocks are focusing on seismic reprocessing and interpretation during 2008 ahead of potential exploration drilling campaigns in 2009 and 2010.
